By implication, Business Information Technology must be a highly multi-disciplinary field of study, and our teaching and research draws upon work from such subject areas as sociology, psychology and anthropology, from economics, politics and philosophy, as much as from business, computing and allied fields.

Management Science focuses on teaching and research relating to the application of quantitative techniques to business analysis, decision-making and problem-solving in a business context, as well as operations research, systems modelling and operations and services management.
